Black Lesbians Represent On-Screen!

Black Lesbians Represent On-Screen!
ELIXHER

Last month, ELIXHER caught up with Saj Golde, star of the Showtime reality TV show The Real L Word, to chat about the importance of depicting Black lesbians in the media.

It turns out that both Po and Dice, close friends of TV personality, La La, love ladies as well. In the latest episode of La La’s Full Court Life, we get a sneak peak into Po’s relationship with her girlfriend, Lissette. The two have been together for a couple of years. The Fab Femme reports that Dice might be coming to terms with her orientation on this season.

ELIXHER applauds Po and Dice for sharing their stories on-screen. Kudos to VH1 for portraying these women as multidimensional people who just happen to be gay or bisexual.

  1. Yes, I love to see more of us on television. Back in the day it was understood that LALA was a part of our family too. This was in her MTV days.

  2. My bad….Po

  3. I’m glad their story is being written in but who didn’t know Pi and Dice were lesbians. They were one of the reasons I watch besides LaLa being as beautiful as ever.
