KIN4LIFE Wins LOE Award
Congratulations are in order for hip hop duo Kin4life. This week, IQ and Nor received a Lesbians of Excellence (LOE) Award for Excellence in Music. On May 27, IQ shared a photo of their trophy on Instagram. Check it out below.
La La’s Full Court Life Dives Deeper Into Po and Dice’s Love Lives
This week on La La’s Full Court Life, Dice and her girlfriend, Gocha, were dealing with trust and control issues. Although the last few episodes have been centered around Dice’s new relationship, apparently she isn’t the only one on the show with a new girlfriend. Po has a new girlfriend too and her name is Aida. She plays basketball overseas and the two deal with the distance between each other. Check it out below.

Oxygen Releases Sisterhood of Hip Hop Promo Trailers
This week, Oxygen released promo trailers introducing each of the cast members for their new show, Sisterhood of Hip Hop, including out Brooklyn MC Siya. In the trailer, the rapper “Heaven” discusses how women in the music industry are often objectified in order to be successful. She disagrees with that notion, stating that if an artist has good music people will adore them. In addition to the trailers, the network also released behind-the-scenes photos. Ariane Davis Graces the Cover of Rolling Out
Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta‘s Ariane Davis is gracing the latest issue of Rolling Out magazine. In the
issue she discusses how her sexuality doesn’t define her, fans being bored with reality TV story lines, her opinion on her friend MiMi Faust’s current relationship, and more. Davis appreciates her autonomy when it comes to her sexuality and relationships. “Everything I do, I do in my time,” she explained. “Of course, Mimi knew. And a lot of people in the community knew. But nobody ever mentioned it because I guess I have a respectable reputation and people really admire me for who I am. It was just my choice to expose my sexuality because I wanted to. I was meeting people and, of course, it was definitely going to come out. I just chose to do it on my time. That’s all.” The reality TV star also stated that viewers won’t be seeing her lover on the show. “My personal relationship won’t be happening on ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ ” she declares. “My personal drama with my significant other, if I have any, is mine. It’s not for anybody to see. If I have any personal drama, that’s my s—. It’s not to be shared with the world like that. I maintain my healthy relationships with privacy, control patience, balance and love.”

Monifah Shops For Wedding Dresses
This week on R&B Divas: Atlanta, Monifah began shopping for wedding dresses and struggled with her guest list to the wedding because she wanted to make sure that everyone had the right type of energy. Terez on the other hand had her list ready and had an easier time preparing it because her friends are “regular.” While Monifah shopped for her wedding dress , Meelah confronted her about who was invited to the wedding.
